María Ángeles Ayala

María Ángeles Ayala is a Spanish pianist renowned for her artistic sensitivity and commitment to music as a universal language. She began her training at the age of 4 at the Totana School of Music and refined her craft under the guidance of esteemed teachers such as María del Mar Pérez, Tamara Harutyunyán Ter-Petrossián, and Elena Orobio. Later, she expanded her artistic horizons in Vienna with Johannes Kropfitsch and, subsequently, with Giuseppe Devastato in Madrid. 

She has received mentorship from acclaimed performers such as Galina Eguiazarova, Jura Margulis, Eldar Nebolsin, Pascal Nemirovski, Josu de Solaun, and Arkadi Volodos. Her career has been recognized in numerous national and international competitions, including the First Prize at the WPTA International Piano Competition (Italy, 2024), the Second Prize at the Murai Grand Prix (Croatia, 2024), the COPE Espuña Prize (2021), and the Second Prize at the Aleksander Scriabin International Competition (Paris, 2013), among others. She has also been awarded the Fundación Galindo Scholarship and the Promúsico of the Year Award in the category of Individual Performers (2019). 

In 2023, she released the album Wanderlust with Universal Music Group, a project that reflects her dedication to discovering and reviving unique repertoires. In 2024, she received the prestigious Diploma of Virtuoso from the Escuela Musical Arts, further solidifying her technical and artistic mastery. 

As a soloist, she has performed in renowned venues such as the Teatros del Canal (Madrid), the Ehrbar Saal (Vienna), the Théâtre National de Nice (France), the Auditorio Víctor Villegas (Murcia), and the Real Academia de Bellas Artes de San Fernando (Madrid). She has collaborated with orchestras such as the Orquesta Sinfónica de la Región de Murcia, the Orquesta de Cámara de Cartagena, and the JORCAM, earning acclaim for the depth and virtuosity of her performances. 

Beyond her career as a performer, María Ángeles has established herself as a key figure in music education and outreach. As the founder of the Músicos Vitamina community, she has created a unique space for inspiration, mutual support, and the exchange of knowledge among musicians. This project embodies her vision of music as a transformative and accessible tool for all. 

Her upcoming projects include performances in Spain and new international engagements, further consolidating her presence on the European music scene.
