Duo Fortecello

Anna Mikulska

Born in Cracow, studied at the Cracow Music Academy and at the Ecole Normale de Musique in Paris. She received acclaim from famous cellists such as Anner Bylsma, Arto Noras and Franz Helmerson amongst others. Her debut took place in 2005, as a soloist with the Symphonic Orchestra of Cracow Music Academy and the Young Philharmonic Orchestra.

She also played in the orchestra of the violinist Nigel Kennedy, “Orchestra of Life”, with whom she performed in a European tour of more than 30 dates in such famous music halls as the Berlin Philharmonie, the Royal Albert Hall, the Southbank Centre and the Palais de Congrès in Paris.

For many years she has specialised in chamber music in a variety of settings and combinations, but mainly with Duo Fortecello.

Since 2015, she has been a co-director of several festivals in France.

 

Philippe Argenty

Entered the Perpignan Conservatory in 2002 and in 2003 he decided to go to Paris to focus on music and piano. In 2005, after two years of study in Paris, he joined the Conservatori Superior de Musica of Liceu in Barcelona.

Since 2004, he has been playing solo or in chamber music, and has been invited to perform in several festivals throughout Europe.

In 2011, he toured as a soloist with the Barcelona orchestra “ConjuntXXI” with whom he performed the Franz Liszt 2nd Concerto for piano and orchestra.

Today he dedicates much of his professional activity to organising festivals and musical seasons.

He has been the Artistic Director of the association Les Clés du Classique since 2008.
