HINAKO INOUE, piano
Born in Japan, Hinako Inoue began her career as a pianist at the age of four. She studied at the Tokyo College of Music High School with Hironao Suzuki and Prof. Mari Takeda as a scholarship student.

After graduating first in her class at the Tokyo College of Music High School, she was accepted into the piano class of Prof. Bernd Goetzke and Prof. Olivier Gardon at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hannover. Since 2022 she has been studying solo piano with Prof. Goetzke and piano chamber music with Prof. Boris Kuznetsov and solo piano with Prof. Jacques Ammon at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Leipzig. In 2021 she won the YAMAHA Music Scholarship and the Yehudi Menuhin Live Music Now Hannover Scholarship.

She has won numerous competitions, including the 3 rd Europa International Piano Competition in Japan, the 3rd Krystian Tkaczewski International Piano Competition, the 1st Siena International Piano Competition, and the 26th Luigi Nono International Music Competition.

She has also been honored in international competitions, including 3rd prize at the 4th Young Piano Stars International Piano Competition, 2nd prize at the 10th Ischia International Piano Competition, and 2nd prize and special prize for the best interpretation of contemporary music “Grete Sultan Prize” at the 12th Osimo International Piano Competition “Nuova Coppa Pianisti”, etc. She has performed with the Krakow State Philharmonic Orchestra and the Göttingen
Symphony Orchestra.

She is scheduled to perform solo recitals in Ischia, Bologna, and Turin, Italy in the fall of 2024. She is also active as a chamber musician and Lied accompaniment pianist and gives various concerts in Germany and Japan. Since 2023 she founded “Duo Fiore” with violinist Momoko Konishi and won 3rd prize at the 20th Chamber Music Festival “Musik in der Altstadt” in Hannover. Since 2022 she is the pianist of the contemporary music group “Ensemble Quarks”, which debuted at the NDR Landesfunkhaus Hannover.
