Phatthicha Leowattana, a sixteen-year-old from Bangkok, Thailand, began her piano lessons at 4. At the Piano Academy of Bangkok, Thailand, she is a student of Dr. Pornphan Banternghansa and Dr. Christopher Janwong McKiggan. She has been the recipient of numerous awards from national and international competitions since a young age. These include the 1st Prize in the 7th Hong Kong International Youth Performance Arts Festival (HKYPAF) 2019, the 1st Prize in the 30th Young Musician International Competition “Città di Barletta” online edition in 2020, the 1st Prize in the Rocky Mountain Music Competition Winter Festival in 2021, and the 1st Prize in the Piano Solo Category C of the WPTA Portugal International Piano Competition in 2021.
She was the recipient of numerous accolades from around the world in 2022, including the Platinum Medalist for Piano Age Category 14 at the 2022 Quebec Music Competition; the 1st prize winner in the Piano category age 14-19 at the 2022 20th Century Music Competition in the United States; and the 2nd Prize in the Amateur Division Category E of the Artciál International Piano Competition and Festival 2022 in San Francisco, USA, for the age group of 13-15. Additionally, the Piano Junior Class B of the HKIMAA, 2022, was awarded the first prize.
In August 2023, she became one of the young talents chosen from around the world to be a Hong Kong Youth Music Ambassador which took part in the 2023 Music Festival at the Bavarian Music Academy Hammel burg, Germany, she also won several awards in 2023; Bronze Award from the 5th WPTA Finland International Piano Competition, 2023, Youth Section: Concerto, 3rd Prize from The William Knabe International Piano Competition 2023: Video Competition, Concerto Division 1 (ages 10-17), 1st prize of Piano Junior Talent from Beethoven Young Musician Competition 2023, Platinum Prize Youth Category from North American Virtuoso, and Grand Prix Best Instrumentalist, Gold Star, and Best Concerto Performance (Piano) from Music and Star Awards 2023 and was selected for the publication of a digital CD with KNS classical & KNS classical artist page in 2025.
Additionally, she was awarded the Gold Piano Concerto, the Best Concerto, and the Grand Prix Award in the Piano Intermediate Category at the 8th Brilliant Talent Discovery Awards International Music Competition in 2024, Singapore. From 2017 to the present, she was a music scholarship at Denla British School (DBS) Bangkok.
