Brilliant Violinist Martyna Skuza Unveils Strings of Passion with KNS Classical
KNS Classical is pleased to announce the release of Strings of Passion, a new album by Polish violinist Martyna Skuza, winner of the Grand Prix “Crown of Stars” 2024 of Music & Stars Awards. This recording brings together masterworks of the violin repertoire, combining emotional depth with a refined sense of narrative structure. From the introspective lines of Bach’s Sonata in G minor to the dramatic lyricism of Chausson’s Poème and the virtuosic demands of Wieniawski and Paganini, the programme reflects both the versatility and maturity of this young artist.
Born in 2006, Martyna Skuza has emerged as a highly promising violinist on the European classical scene. Despite not coming from a musical background, she has distinguished herself in numerous international competitions, including recent Grand Prix awards in Kraków and Płock, and has performed as a soloist with orchestras such as the Koszalin Symphony Orchestra and for Polish national radio. Her recital appearances have taken her to Warsaw, Gdańsk, Vienna, Berlin, and beyond.
Strings of Passion offers a personal and carefully curated selection of works, spanning multiple stylistic periods. The album includes Wieniawski’s Variations on an Original Theme, Szymanowski’s lyrical Romance, and Paganini’s Caprice No. 11, among other key pieces. These works are presented not merely as technical showpieces, but as musical statements imbued with clarity, sensitivity, and character.
This remarkable recording is now available on Spotify, iTunes, Amazon Music and YouTube.
