Rising Pianist Anisa Dazhaeva releases “Dante Fantasy” with KNS Classical

KNS Classical is proud to present Dante Fantasy, an album of pianist Anisa Dazhaeva, featuring two monumental works of the Romantic piano repertoire: Franz Liszt’s Après une lecture de Dante: Fantasia quasi Sonata and Sergei Rachmaninoff’s Sonata No. 1 in D Minor, Op. 28.

A laureate of numerous international competitions, Anisa is quickly gaining recognition for her artistic maturity, technical brilliance, and emotional depth. A student of Yury Favorin at the Moscow State Conservatory, she brings a unique perspective to these visionary and dramatic masterpieces.

Dante Fantasy explores the theme of inner struggle and transcendence—opening with Liszt’s infernal journey inspired by Dante’s Divine Comedy, and followed by Rachmaninoff’s powerful and rarely recorded First Sonata, a darkly virtuosic triptych that reflects the eternal battle between good and evil.
