The “beast on the keyboard” Sergey Belyavsky releases his CD “The Wanderer” with KNS Classical.

Praised as a “beast on the keyboard” (The Utah Review), pianist Sergey Belyavsky has thrilled and awed audiences around the globe. He is described as demonstrating “an extraordinary expressive intelligence” (Bachtrack) and has been called “one of the best pianists in the world today.”

His album “The Wanderer” is now officially released and KNS Classical could not be more proud. The album is in fact a recording of a live concert at Rose Wagner Theater in Salt Lake City as a part of the International Gina Bachauer Foundation Concert Piano Series. The program itself is a result of Belyavsky’s search for an ideally balanced, finessed sequence of musical works which would be of interest for all kinds of people, from those who have never been to a live concert/purchased an album such as this one, to people who are professional musicians.

The album includes Schubert’s Wanderer Fantasy, as well a collection of Schubert’s lieder transcribed by Liszt, alongside some of Liszt’s transcendental and Paganini studies and Saint-Saëns Danse Macabre.

You can listen to Belyavsky’s diversified sonorities, and his precision and finesse on Itunes, Amazon, Spotify and YouTube
